Alberta Test Set Templates

The following list contains two MS Excel Workbooks for each club: One Age Group Workbook and one Senior Workbook. Click on the link and when prompted, indicate that you wish to save the file. Choose an appropriate place to save the file on your computer. Once saved, you can begin to edit it.

Each Workbook has 5 spreadsheets in it: 4 for the Test Sets, and an extra one called "Club Info". The Workbooks are personalized for each club, with all of the club's swimmers already listed including Name, SNC #, Gender and BirthDate. To populate the spreadsheets with data, simply enter the data beside each swimmer's personal information in the appropriate Test Set spreadsheet.

Please DO NOT change the spelling of any swimmers' name, SNC number, Gender or BirthDate. Even if you believe there are errors, do not make changes in these workbooks, as the data will then not load properly into the database.

If you feel the need to delete any swimmers (rows) from the workbook, or to re-order any of the rows, read the following paragraph first.

If you wish to delete swimmers or re-order the list of swimmers, read this paragraph. Note, any changes of this kind must be done before any data is entered onto any Test Set spreadsheets. Do not make any deletions or re-ordering changes on any Test Set spreadsheets. Any of these changes must be made on the Club Info spreadsheet and this will automatically transfer the changes to the Test Set spreadsheets. If you wish to sub-categorize your club into smaller groups, this must be done from the Club Info spreadsheet. To do this, select the Club Info spreadsheet, and put numbers (1 - n) into the "Groups" column to specify which group each swimmer is in. After numbering each swimmer into the appropriate group, sort the rows according to the Group Numbers, beginning with Row 13. Any swimmer deletions and group re-ordering done on the Club Info page, will automatically be transferred to the Test Set spreadsheets.
